New Association Chairman

Following Paul Ferguson and team's successful rescuing of the Constituency finances and steady hand at the tiller, this year's AGM has ushered in a new Chairman and team - tasked with managing the Association, providing support for branches and playing its part in fulfilling Party expectations.

Progress on technical education

For many years the UK has performed poorly in the international productivity tables. In real terms, this means that in 2015, for every comparable hour worked in Germany, the UK produced 37% less output. Average productivity across the G7 countries falls 18% above the UK.

James Cartlidge Out and About in the Association

James has been out and about the association territory this month, meeting members and answering their questions.  He started with Dinner for Nayland Branch kindly hosted by Georgie and Jeremy Evans the next evening he was out at the Clare & Cavendish branch  Christmas Social.

350,000 more people in work

Between June and September this year unemployment fell by 37,000 and since last year 350,000 more people now have a full time job.
